C’è un’altra salita, dopo quella di Cody Roth, della controversa via “Malvazjia” a Dvigrad, uno degli itinerari made in Manolo sul cui stato precedente e successivo alla prima salita sussistono versioni molto diverse e differenze mai spiegate.
La nostra inchiesta sulle vie contestate di Manolo comprendeva anche Malvazjia, ma, mentre per altri tiri abbiamo appurato evidenti manipolazioni, su Malvazjia abbiamo lasciato un punto interrogativo.
Quel che è certo è che la differenza tra l’8b+ dichiarato in origine e l’8c+ riscontrato da Cody Roth e adesso confermato da Ale Zeni, massimo esponente mondiale della scalata in placca (unico ad avere percorso un 9b su quelle inclinazioni), è tanta. Troppa perchè alla via non sia successo qualcosa nel frattempo. Ad opera di chi non si sa. Nell’articolo-inchiesta compaiono anche alcuni buchi evidentemente manipolati anche su questa via della costa croata.

There is another ascent, after that of Cody Roth, of the controversial “Malvazjia” route at Dvigrad, one of the itineraries made in Manolo on the state of which before and after the first ascent there are very different versions and differences that have never been explained.
Our investigation into Manolo’s disputed routes also included Malvazjia, but while we ascertained obvious manipulations for other pitches, we left a question mark on Malvazjia.
