Un altro trip incredibile di Alex Megos in terra catalana, con una breve permanenza costellata da una serie impressionante di ripetizioni e prime salite. Ancora più impressionante se si considera lo stile monocorde dell’area, incentrato sulle prese a dita distese in fortissimo strapiombo, con gran prevalenza di biditi e monoditi che insistono sulla pelle sempre negli stessi punti.
Accompagnato dall’inglese Tom Bolger, da tempo trasferitosi a Margalef, oltre a diversi 8c/c+ “di riscaldamento” Megos si appunta

The Full Journey – 9b. Di quest’ultima impressiona il livello altissimo di forza resistente richiesto, una via che Alex definirebbe “next level” se non fosse per l’ottimo punto di riposo in corrispondenza della sosta del primo tiro.
Another incredible trip by Alex Megos in Catalan soil, with a short stay punctuated by an impressive series of repetitions and first ascents. Even more impressive if we consider the monochord style of the area, centered on finger grips overhanging, with a great prevalence of two-finger and one-finger that always insist on the skin in the same points.
