Non tutti i climbing trips dei top climbers sono di lungo periodo e impostati sul superlavorato, alla ricerca della massima difficoltà. Ci sono ancora coloro che si muovono in modo simile al climber medio, con i tempi limitati dalle vacanze scolastiche o lavorative. Tra questi Giorgio Tomatis, il top con il casco, recente ripetitore di Lapsus 9b ad Andonno.
Si è concentrato su Santa Lynia, il famoso grottone catalano, cercando di flashare il più possibile o limitare al massimo il numero dei tentativi e il “bottino”, realizzato flash o con beta molto imperfetti, è uno dei più importanti realizzati da un italiano in una sola settimana di permanenza in falesia. Ecco come lo racconta
“La mia vacanza a Santa Linya è incominciata con un classico della falesia, Rollito sharma, un 8b+ che sono riuscito a salire flash, poi il giorno seguente mi sono spostato più verso la sinistra della grotta dove la parete strapiomba un po’ meno e sono riuscito a salire sempre flash Blomu L2 8b e dopo 2 giorni in soli 4 giri sono riuscito a salire sempre Blomu ma la sua catena più in alto che si tratta di un 8c+, dopo queste realizzazioni ho deciso di rimanere sempre sulla sinistra della grotta e ho iniziato a provare fuck the system 9a classico del settore, per via delle pessime condizioni di quei giorni le sensazioni all’inizio non erano molto buone ma dopo un paio di giorni il tempo e migliorato così come le sensazioni sulla via e così in soli 6 giri sono riuscito a salirla, dopo di che mi mancavano solo più 3 giorni di scalata prima della fine del mio viaggio così ho deciso di spostarmi sull’8c e 8c+ emblema di quella falesia, Fabelita e Fabela, il primo dei 3 giorni sono riuscito a salire in soli 2 giri fabelita 8c e nel resto dei giorni rimanenti ho salito fabela all’ultimo giro dell’ultimo giorno in 5 giri” Foto: iro.climb e @Lea_f14_

Among these Giorgio Tomatis, the top with the helmet, recent repeater of Lapsus 9b in Andonno.
