La placca più bella di Grecia continua ad essere in pericolo e anzi si sta avvicinando il momento in cui dovrebbe diventare un cantiere per far posto all’ennesimo insediamento turistico balneare.
Nei prossimi giorni ci sarà una importante riunione regionale a Heraklion per decidere del destino di queste rocce spettacolari affacciate sulla bella baia di Plakias. Ai climbers si sono uniti anche tanti cittadini comuni che hanno “occupato” simbolicamente la base della parete durante questo weekend.
The most beautiful slab in Greece continues to be in danger and indeed the moment is approaching when it should become a construction site to make room for yet another seaside resort.
In the coming days there will be an important regional meeting in Heraklion to decide the fate of these spectacular rocks overlooking the beautiful bay of Plakias. The climbers were also joined by many ordinary citizens who symbolically “occupied” the base of the face this weekend.
