Bella prima solitaria per Janluca Kostner in Civetta

I quindici tiri di “Chimera verticale” sulla NW del Civetta, aperta nel corsoi di due anni dalla cordata composta da Alessandro Baù, Daniele Geremia, Alessandro Beber e Luca Matteraglia, ha una prima ripetizione in solitaria, ad opera di Janluca Kostner

Con un tiro di 7c e un paio di 7a/7a+, ma aperti in stile classico senza spit, la via è un grosso challenge mitigato solo da un ottimo posto da bivacco che consente una progressione meno gravata da pesi superflui.

Il giovane (24 anni) gardenese di Ortisei, è da un anno aspirante guida e, come molti giovani dell’ultima generazione, ha iniziato con la plastica e con le gare per poi approdare all’alpinismo.

Janluca ha scalato tutti i tiri autoassicurato con il Grigri modificato e le asole all’imbrago e, interrogato se avesse dei modelli di riferimento tra i solitari, ha risposto “Renato Casarotto”, particolare di questi tempi non comune e davvero interessante!

The fifteen pitches of “Chimera Verticale” on the NW of Civetta, established over two years by the team composed of Alessandro Baù, Daniele Geremia, Alessandro Beber and Luca Matteraglia, has a first solo ascent  by Janluca Kostner 

With a pitch of 7c and a couple of 7a / 7a +, but opened in a classic style without bolts, the route is a big challenge mitigated only by an excellent bivouac spot that allows a progression less burdened by unnecessary weights. The young (24 years old) from Val Gardena from Ortisei has been an aspiring guide for a year and, like many young people of the last generation, started with plastic and with competitions and then moved on to mountaineering. 

Janluca has climbed all the pitches self-belayed with the modified Grigri and the loops on the harness and, when asked if he had any reference models among the soloists, he replied “Renato Casarotto”, an unusual and really interesting detail these days!
